Review

This odd little double-disc compilation of sweet and summery reggae tunes doesn't aspire to do much more than help your day drift by like a gentle breeze. Comprised of mostly mellow love songs (with the occasional political track like Leonard Dillon's "Dread Prophesy" inexplicably tossed in), it skips past Babylon for the surf and sand, and tracks like Delroy Wilson's "Do That to Me One More Time," the Paragons' trippy "I Need Her," the hyper-sugary "Promise to Be True" by Gregory Isaacs, and Cornel Campbell's half-dub version of "Give Your Love to Me" make this a passable budget purchase for that relaxing day at the beach. ~ Steve Leggett
