Review

Twiztid's fourth album continues the successful formula adopted by these Insane Clown Posse acolytes--that of screaming punk-metal angst set to a hip-hop backbeat. In fact, Twiztid make a mockery of the old story that smoking copious quantities of marijuana has a mellowing quality on one's outlook--there's no mellow here, just a mainline to whatever part of one's brain is involved in anger mismanagement. The duo's blend of hardcore and hip-hop is in full effect all over THE GREEN BOOK--check out the full-on thrash of "Afraid of Me"--and their obsession with horror movies continues unabated. In short, this album is a formidable successor to the premier Twiztid effort, FREAKSHOW.
