Review

Directed by Rob Cohen (XXX: State of the Union) and written by W.G. Richter (The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension), it's only fitting that the soundtrack to the artificial intelligence/Air Force thriller Stealth should be over the top. Composer BT (Brian Transeau) brings his signature blend of house and classical to the project without abandon, relying on brutal electronics, spooky piano motifs, and enormous retches of brass to tell the tale of a top-secret project gone bad. Fans of the composer/producer's high-energy Danny Elfman-meets-Bernard Hermann-swallows-Aphex Twin acrobatics will find much to love here, but those looking for a score that's even the least bit memorable will be almost instantly disappointed. ~ James Christopher Monger
