Review

The Teletubbies aren't really known for their songs; they're known for they're hypnotic repetition and trippy visuals. That's part of the reason why Rhino's Teletubbies -- The Album doesn't really work -- the show is about the visuals, not the music. That's not to say that this record won't please children, since it is good-natured and has some memorable songs (especially the British novelty hit "Teletubbies Say 'Eh-Oh'"), but chances are they won't be squealing "Again! Again! Again!" once the record is finished. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine
