Review

Even though the Wu-Tang Clan are packed with talent, Method Man is arguably the group's breakout star. Featuring work from his solo albums as well as his collaborations with kindred spirit Redman, Best Of distills the rapper's work down to its choicest moments. While his back catalog features plenty of high points, his albums can sometimes be a little uneven, but with a track list that features songs like "Bring the Pain" and "Da Rockwilder," this compilation does all the heavy lifting for you. Also including his Grammy Award-winning collaboration with Mary J. Blige, "I'll Be There for You/You're All I Need to Get By," Best Of is a heavy-hitting compilation that should have new listeners hooked on the MC's gruff delivery and blunted-out lyricism. ~ Gregory Heaney
